Aquaticum Thermal and Wellness Hotel**** was opened to the public on 1 of July in 1998. in Debrecen. The hotel is found on the city’s nature conservation area, in the heart of Great Forest of Debrecen. It is Hungary secound largest city.

It is unique in Hungary that every service can be found under one roof. For example hotel, restaurant, thermal-bath, therapy centre, and further services like beauty-saloon (hairdresser, manicure, pedicure, cosmetic), pharmacy and solarium; you don’t need to leave the building to use any of these services or shops. The Régi Vigadó Restaurant and Terrace can be found in the neighbourhood and it offers a  rich and varied program of entertainment. The thermal waters of Debrecen are especially effective in the treatment of the following diseases: Rheumatism of the muscles, tendons, joints.   The hotel has 56 double rooms and 39 apartments, which are equipped with all comforts that are needed including: biobeds, balcony, bath, hairdryer, telephone, television, radio and minibar. There are also  3  rooms  specifically designed for handicapped persons.

The opening of the Mediterranien Water Resort extended the range of the services. Highlights are: 11 slides, cavebath with waterfall, special jacuzzis, childpool, underwater-massage, mushroom- and neck showers, geyser, saunacentre and mediterrenian restaurant – that can be used independently from the weather – perfect recreation.  All  generations will  find something to do.
The Mediterranien Water Resort can also be reached from the hotel through a passage, so the guests do not need to leave the building, and have possibility to use the thermal-bath, swimming-pool, sauna or the water-park. 
Also avaliable to our  guests is the Wellness-Isle, where there are lots of wellness-offers to help maintain their healthy lifestyle and prevent diseases with their way of life. Outdoor pools with different types of thermal pools and swimming pools can be used in the summer time.

We organize optional programs and trips to popular places of this area, for example to Hortobágy / Puszta trip, to Tokaj, Eger. This programs make the  stays of our guests more pleasant.

The price contains:
7 nights with half-board, 1 medical examination, 10 treatments, underwater exercises, entry to the thermal bath, to the swimming pool, sauna, outdoor pools in the summer time, use of bathrobe, dental examination, welcome drink and local tax. Extensions are  possible.
