7 days / 6 nights at Lake Balaton

Program:

Day 1: Arrive at the hotel  with a  welcome-drink and program information. Dinner (half-boarrd) in the hotel.

Day 2:Approximately 3.5 hours in the morning for free program or to discover the wellness area /swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, bubble bath/ of the hotel for free. There is an additional charge to usef the solarium, beauty treatment and the hairdresser’services ( please consult your guide in advance ). Free program in the afternoon and we invite you for coffee and cakes at 16:00.
Dinner (half-board) in the hotel. 

Day 3: Trip to Budapest and a visit to the Caprice  jewellery factory. Sightseeing followed by a free program afterwhich a 3-course dinner (half-board) with coffee will be served. 1 hour long boat trip on the Danube with one glass of champagne.

Day 4: Approximately  3.5 hours in the morning for a free program or to discover the wellness area /swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, bubble bath/ of the hotel for free. There is an additional charge to use of the solarium, beauty treatment, manicure, pedicure and the hairdresser’services ( please consult your guide in advance) .
In the afternoon we travel to Tihany for sightseeing before  heading to the world-famous Porcelain Factory in Herend. The actual manufacture of the porcelain will be displayed to us followed by coffee and cakes using original Herend Porcelain.
Dinner (half-board) in the hotel. 

Day 5: Trip to the Puszta, and a  visit to the  famous stud called Lipicai. Program: The group is welcomed with pálinka (traditional Hungarian schnaps) and langosh ( fried potato dough topped with sour cream / cheese / garlic ) afterwhich the group will travel by coach to see a  horse show and  visit a peasant farm with a local guide. This will be followed by a large lunch with wine, coffee and live gipsy music. At the end of the day we will visit the Pálinka Museum.

Day 6: Approximately  3.5 hours in the morning  free program or to discover the wellness area /swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, bubble bath/ of the hotel for free. There is an additional charge for the use of solarium, beauty treatment, manicure, pedicure and the hairdresser’services ( please consult your guide in advance)
The farewell party will be a peasant wedding held  in a typical charda in the evening. An amazing program will be waiting for us with a delicious meal: puszta-cocktail, stuffed savoury pancake „Hortobágy” style, cattle soup with noodles, charda dish / stuffed chicken cabbage and potatoe with 0.5 l wine and coffee. 

Day 7: After breakfast, unfortunately we have to go home.

• 6 nights in the 3 star Wellness-Hotel Magistern in Siófok next to the  Lake Balaton
• Each room has shower, toilet, telephone and SAT TV
